The new Jimny XL Five-Door version has made a stunning debut. Since its launch in June 2018, the fourth-generation Suzuki Jimny has been highly sought after worldwide, and it's still difficult to find one in Hong Kong. The long-awaited Jimny XL, with its five-door configuration, will be showcased at the Suzuki Kowloon Bay Showroom from October 21st to November 5th.

The Jimny XL retains the iconic square exterior design and incorporates highly anticipated upgrades. The major change is the addition of a rear door, increasing the vehicle's length and wheelbase by 340mm. The Jimny XL measures 3985mm in length, which is 335mm longer than the three-door Jimny. The front grille also features a chrome trim, enhancing the overall quality feel. Additionally, you have the option to choose a Two-Tone dual-color roof.

Inside the vehicle, the Jimny XL offers upgraded features. The 7-inch display screen has been replaced with a 9-inch touchscreen, and the Smart Play Pro+ infotainment system supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The car is equipped with keyless entry, power-folding mirrors, and rear parking sensors. In terms of safety, the Jimny XL includes features like Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Forward Collision Warning, and Lane Departure Warning. The increased dimensions provide more space for both seating and storage, with significantly larger boot capacity compared to the three-door version. The addition of the rear door also makes it easier for rear passengers to enter and exit the vehicle.

Powering the Jimny XL is the same 1460cc four-cylinder naturally aspirated engine as the three-door version, delivering a maximum output power of 102 horsepower and a torque of 130 Nm. In the Hong Kong market, only a 4-speed automatic transmission is available, and the vehicle retains its rugged off-road capabilities with the AllGrip Pro 4WD system and low-range transfer gear.
